About the Role:
In this Senior ER Advisor position, you will be instrumental in providing proactive and timely advice to the wider HR team, particularly in areas related to employment relations and union relationships. We are looking for someone who is well-versed in collective bargaining and developing policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer expert and timely guidance on the application of collective agreements and employment relations issues.
- Collaborate with the wider HR team to enhance the provision of engagement and support to leadership.
- Develop comprehensive training materials for new or updated HR policies, ensuring the team is well-equipped with knowledge.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes and proactively update ER resources to maintain relevance and efficacy.
- Deliver regular training sessions to bolster understanding of employment relations across the HR team.
- Utilise data and analytics to pre-emptively address employment relations concerns.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with union representatives, facilitating constructive communications and negotiations.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will possess a sound understanding of employment relations dynamics, particularly within unionised environments. This role will involve extensive collaboration with various stakeholders, including union partners so will have strong communication and relationship management skills.
