About the Role:
The Information Technology (IT) Director is a key member of the executive team and is responsible for the vision, leadership, development and execution of the firm’s technology strategy and driving technology solutions to all facets of the organisation. The IT Director will have overall management of the technology infrastructure, security and operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and innovative IT strategy aligned with the firm’s business objectives and overall strategic plan, including the technical roadmap.
- Lead technology initiatives that align with the firm’s strategic direction by identifying and recommending key projects, contributing to strategic planning, and overseeing the execution of annual IT initiatives to future-proof operations.
- Establish and manage the IT budget to ensure effective resource allocation and financial alignment with business goals.
- Develop and execute the annual Cyber Security Plan
- Build, develop and lead a high performance team to foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation and excellence
- Ensure the smooth delivery of daily IT operations, and the reliability, performance and security of all technology systems software and hardware.
- Drive innovation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in our processes.
- Develop and oversee the firm's AI strategy (in collaboration with others), ensuring the integration of AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and client services
About You:
- Minimum of 8-10 years managing an IT network and department in a large enterprise and/or professional services environment.
- Proven track record in the management of: 24x7 IT operations in a large enterprise;
- IT and business risk; enterprise-wide cyber security
- Inspirational leader and manager of high-performance teams
- A strong understanding of Cyber Security and risk within a professional services context
- Highly credible at executive level, who can build trust throughout the organisation
- Strategic thinker, with track record in driving digital transformation initiatives
