About the role:

We are recruiting for 2 Regional Sales Manager – FCSD (Aftersales) roles, both based in Auckland covering different national regions, reporting into the Head of FCSD Sales and working closely with the Director - Ford Customer Service Division.

Ultimately this role includes overseeing and optimising the performance of workshops, parts & accessories sales and overall customer experience within the extensive Ford Motor Company dealer network. This role is the champion for continuous improvements, leveraging market development capabilities to enhance support and drive revenue and customer satisfaction. 
This leadership role will work closely with dealerships, service managers & parts managers, responsible for driving exceptional aftersales performance across the designated regions. Focusing on how the team can use technology to sell more parts or deliver the ultimate customer experience within the competitive after service landscape. 

This role is a people focussed role and will help coach and enable the team to use data effectively and efficiently to create more opportunities and drive sales. 
  
Responsibilities include: - 

  • Accountability for end-to-end aftersales performance 
  • Operational efficiency and performance of workshops 
  • Parts & Accessories sales 
  • Leading a customer centric approach to service 
  • Dealer relationship management, planning & market development 
  • Data lead, reporting /analysis and compliance

This role comes with base salary, bonus & car 

About You:
  • You will have proven senior field sales leadership experience, for one role we are after experience in the automotive industry, and the other role we are open and looking for B2B experience within a franchise model set up.
  • This role isn’t a typical sales role in the fact we are looking for a strong voice and influencing skills to drive sales. We are looking for commercial, insights driven, transformational leaders here.
  • For one role we require a deep understanding of the automative aftersales landscape, including automotive repair and maintenance procedures. We are looking for proven success in managing workshop performance, parts sales and customer satisfaction, including managing and improving sales performance metrics. You may be a Service Manager currently looking for your next step up in your career.
You will have: - 
  • Strong business acumen - we are looking for a super smart, commercial person here to drive outcomes 
  • Successfully led and motivated stakeholders and teams, with the ability to analyse data and leverage insights for strategic decision-making to influence business outcomes 
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, building credibility, and most importantly providing guidance and influencing business outcomes. You will have the ability to connect, creating a vision and selling a concept
  • Therefore, strong communication skills, solid EQ & interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement, taking people on a journey 
  • Ability to drive educational initiatives and foster continuous improvement among teams. 
  • You will also be highly analytical, familiar with taking people through solid processes, with the ability to get the dealers/team up to speed using data and technology to deliver new programmes of work with fantastic customer service and revenue generating outcomes  
  • You will be comfortable with substantial travel around your region. These roles are based in Auckland and will provide national coverage, so travel could be 3 nights a week or a week every fortnight for example.
