Summary About the Role:
If you are an innovative Technical Product Owner with a deep understanding of cloud technologies and infrastructure, we want to hear from you! This role is designed for someone who is not only strategic but is also comfortable rolling up their sleeves to ensure successful execution. You'll be the key driver in creating and communicating a multi-year roadmap that aligns cloud and infrastructure projects with front-line business needs and technical excellence.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Collaborate directly with Product Management and Architecture teams to create a multi-year strategic roadmap for our cloud and infrastructure services, ensuring it resonates with both business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Turn complex strategic goals into clear, actionable user stories, while prioritising deliverables to align with project timelines.
- Develop engaging narratives that communicate the value of cloud initiatives, instilling enthusiasm and garnering buy-in from key stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership.
- Act as the central point of contact between technical teams and business partners, making sure you articulate complex cloud infrastructure concepts in relatable, outcome-focused terms.
- Own a well-defined product backlog, ensuring that it reflects high-level objectives and contains detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria. You'll work with delivery teams to effectively manage sprints and address any impediments that arise.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; an advanced degree is seen as advantageous.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in Product Management, specifically focusing on cloud and infrastructure.
- Proven expertise with a major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), alongside a solid understanding of virtualization, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps methodologies.
- An in-depth grasp of Agile principles and methodologies, particularly SAFe and associated tools.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders—from technical teams to senior executives—tailoring your messages to suit different audiences.
- A strategic mindset, adept at problem-solving and ready to lead change with a servant leadership approach.
What’s on Offer:
- Influence and shape innovative cloud and infrastructure projects that align with our organisational goals.
- Work in a collaborative atmosphere where your contributions will directly impact project outcomes and team success.
- Experience a fixed-term opportunity focused on delivering significant results with a potential path for longer-term collaboration.
About the Company:
Our client is a trailblazer in adopting cloud solutions, committed to fostering a culture that emphasises collaboration, innovation, and strategic alignment. They prioritise empowering their teams with the resources and support they need to excel in their projects, while delivering measurable value to the business.
