About the Role:


A rare opportunity to join the procurement team at Auckland Airport and really make a difference.

You will be supporting the effective procurement of goods, services and assets by providing sound commercial advice and support to internal stakeholders, to ensure appropriate procurement decisions are made. Working with the wider procurement team you will also be responsible for helping to create category strategies, leading the sourcing and negotiation of goods & services and ensuring strategic suppliers and contracts are effectively managed.
For this role (one of 2 specialist roles that I am recruiting) I am specifically looking for experience within digital…or similar. As always, this is a brief advert, and nothing beats having a chat about the role, the team and the company, so get in touch for more details.


About You:


You will probably have a qualification in commerce, business, finance or other related field (or equivalent body of knowledge) and MCIPS or working towards would be great. You will have a good few years’ experience in procurement and have strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills with a good, demonstrable knowledge of contract management, supplier evaluation, and sourcing strategies. Your ability to multitask, prioritise work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment will be evident from you past work, as will your ability to collaborate effectively across functional lines.
