About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Executive to join our team in Auckland. Reporting to the Head of Off-Trade, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, distribution, and brand growth within the off-trade sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing key distributor and banner group relationships alongside the National Account Manager, ensuring strong partnerships and maximizing business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and long-term success.
- Achieve sales and distribution targets by working closely with the field sales team, identifying opportunities for growth, and implementing strategic initiatives.
- Develop customer business plans and promotional strategies, including preparing submissions and executing tailored solutions to optimise brand presence and sales performance.
- Manage and administer trade promotional and incentive schemes in alignment with marketing initiatives, ensuring effective execution and ROI tracking.
- Maintain accurate customer records and track performance using internal CRM/SAP tools to monitor sales trends, forecast demand, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Provide key industry insights and competitor analysis using AC Nielsen data, identifying trends, opportunities, and threats in the market.
- Prepare monthly reports including sales performance, rebate tracking, promotional spend reports, and field communications to support business objectives.
- Represent Campari New Zealand at industry events, including trade fairs, tastings, and customer functions, acting as a brand ambassador and strengthening relationships within the industry.
- Attend sales meetings and implement agreed actions to drive team collaboration and business growth
About You:
You will currently be in a Key Account Executive, Category Analyst or Territory Manager position within the FMCG space. This is a broad role, in a dynamic business which will require:
- Previous experience in sales, account management, preferably within the FMCG, beverage, or alcohol industry.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities to identify and act on business opportunities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strong time management skills, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Experience with CRM and SAP systems is advantageous, with the ability to analyse data and generate insights.
- A passion for premium brands and the beverage industry, with a keen interest in market trends and consumer behaviour.
