About the Role:
As the Accounts Lead, you will provide leadership for the Accounts Payable and Receivable team, ensuring the smooth and efficient financial operations of the Rūnanga. You will work closely with the Group Financial Controller and a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Accounts team, ensuring accurate and timely payments and receipts.
- Establish clear accountabilities and performance standards.
- Monitor financial processes to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Foster strong working relationships across the organisation and with external partners.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and business efficiency initiatives.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of three years' experience managing finance operations teams.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to build a high-performing team.
- Experience in financial accounting and accounts processing in a medium to large organisation.
- A proven track record in customer service and stakeholder engagement.
- A relevant qualification in accounting (CAANZ preferred or working towards it).
