About the Role:
The Contract Specialist is accountable for managing contracts and relationships that support the delivery of a particular programme by providing expert oversight and strategic contract management and supporting the efficient operation and sustainability of the programmes while delivering on organisational commitments.
About You:
You will have contract management and commercial experience within government, a regulatory environment, or the private sector.
- Ability to skilfully negotiate contract terms with internal and external stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining positive relationship
- High degree of political nous and a strong working knowledge of the machinery of government, including government policies and processes that influence contract management.
- In-depth understanding of contract management processes and frameworks within government, including alignment with Government Procurement Rules and All-of-Government initiatives.
- Experience managing change and complexity within dynamic contractual environments
- Expertise in managing contractual processes, demonstrated by robust contract documentation, and a sound understanding of contract law.
