Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled Level 1 IT Support Engineer to join our team on a temporary contract basis.As a key player in our IT department, you will provide onsite IT support to our end users in Dunedin, helping to ensure their technological needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- User Support: Offer face-to-face, phone, and email support to end users, addressing a variety of IT-related inquiries and issues
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware problems with laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices to maintain functionality and productivity.
- Software Support:** Assist users with software and application troubles, including installations and necessary updates.
- Device Setup: Support the imaging and setup of new devices for users, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Manage IT support requests efficiently, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and escalated appropriately when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Level 1 IT support role or a similar position (near Level 2).
- Strong troubleshooting skills in both hardware and software environments.
- Excellent customer service skills, with confidence in providing onsite user support.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader IT team.
- Availability to start by March 24 and commit to the position until the end of June 2025, with potential for extension.
