About the Role:

As a Finance Manager at IHC, you will support our Corporate Services, Programmes, and Fundraising teams while overseeing Treasury and Tax functions (we’re happy to upskill in these areas if needed). You will provide timely and accurate financial information, lead process improvements, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. You’ll also be responsible for mentoring a small team and driving a culture of high performance and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor a team, driving a high-performance culture.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and engage with auditors.
  • Take ownership of key finance functions and collaborate with senior leadership.


About You:

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical financial/statutory accounting, with leadership experience.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and a hands-on approach to managing functions.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and experience identifying process improvements.
  • Ability to motivate and guide a team to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.
