Senior OD Advisor

About the Role:

This role is pivotal in delivering expert organisational development knowledge and experience to ensure the effective execution of crucial people strategies. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues across the HR team and wider business groups, and essential stakeholders to assess organisational development needs while providing tailored recommendations for impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to identify and assess organisational development needs.
  • Recommend and implement initiatives that align with organisational development priorities, driving tangible results.
  • Initially focus on supporting activities related to Public Service Commission work programmes.
  • Employ data and insights to make evidence-based decisions and recommendations on operational issues.
What will you get from this role?

As the Senor OD Advisor, in a supportive team environment, you will have the ability to:
  • Manage and support the delivery of key Organisational Development (OD) programmes focusing on leadership development, talent and succession planning, inclusion and diversity, culture, and employee engagement.
  • Oversee the implementation of various OD programmes ensuring they meet organisation needs while promoting continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate and support employee-led initiatives aligning with organisational goals and public sector objectives.
  • Provide expertise and share best practices to improve workforce capability, organisational performance, and employee well-being.
  • Engage with the Public Service Commission (PSC) to stay updated on expectations and contribute to cross-agency projects.
  • Support PSC processes, ensuring compliance with cyclical requirements and correct executions.
