About the Role:


Join this fun and exciting organisation as a Financial Accountant and play a crucial role in the financial health of its future. The Collective has ambitious growth plans which require a Financial Accountant that has strong technical accounting experience coupled with commercial acumen.
The role reports into and will work closely with the Finance Director and you will work alongside three other experienced finance professionals. You will own financial monthly reporting by preparing and managing financial statements in compliance with IFRS, oversee cash flow management, and ensure compliance with tax obligations.
Your expertise will guide their financial reporting processes while implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. If you are detail-oriented with a dedication to excellence, eager to learn and grow your experience, then this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.

About You:

To be considered for the role you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and have completed your CA/CPA.
  • Experience working in the Big 4 with an additional 2-3 years of commercial experience in a financial accounting or reporting roles.
  • Extensive experience in preparing P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statements.
  • Understanding of compliance and risk management in financial practices.
  • Curiosity and energy to streamline financial processes and implement best practices.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively across departments and manage cross-functional relationships

Experience working in FMCG experience is desirable but not essential. We are looking for a team player with excellent attitude as this is a no ego environment!
