About the Role:
As the Sales Director, you will take ownership of Ford’s vehicle sales activities, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong relationships with the Dealer Network and key direct customers. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of the sales programme, ensuring accurate forecasting, and aligning sales efforts with the long-term growth strategy. Key responsibilities include
- Drive Revenue Growth: Lead profitable sales growth and market share expansion through Ford’s Dealer Network and direct channels in New Zealand
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement plans to achieve sales targets, dealer commitments, and customer satisfaction goals
- Dealer Network Management: Build strong relationships with the Dealer Network, corporate customers, and key stakeholders including rental, government, and fleet organisations
- Sales Team Coaching: Train, develop, and motivate the sales team to support dealer success, boost retail promotions, and improve dealership profitability
- Sales Programme Oversight: Manage forecasting, vehicle supply, inventory, and monthly sales targets to align with production forecasts
- Market Intelligence: Provide timely market insights and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making and improve performance
- Customer Satisfaction: Lead customer satisfaction initiatives, enhance the Ford experience, and drive dealer competencies through training and development programs
