About the Role:
You will be responsible for managing the planning function determining how to best fulfil the requirements. It includes production planning and material planning and finished goods, semi-finished goods and inventory management.
About You:
You’ll probably have a relevant Degree or equivalent work experience preferably Supply Chain or Business Analysis. You will need to be able to work in Hokitika and be fluent in mandarin, both speaking and writing.
- Extensive Microsoft Office Suite experience, with advanced Excell skills
- Knowledge and experience of the core purchasing skills
- Fluent mandarin speaking and writing ability required for HQ reporting.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills so that ideas, instructions and information are clearly understood by others in both informal and formal situations.
- Astuteness, a strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills with ability to relate to and work with all people at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills to be able to identify, design and implement Continuous Improvement projects.
- Ability to work both individually and cooperatively as part of a small but dynamic team demonstrating energy, vision and initiative.
- Flexibility, adaptability and ability to work under pressure and be responsive to organisational contingencies as they arise.
- Ability to manage and appropriately prioritise many competing demands across a range of activities.
- Ability to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and meets deadlines.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to analyse data.
