About the Role:

The Procurement Portfolio Manager is responsible for establishing and managing end to end procurement processes that ensure the business derives optimum value, benefit and cost efficiencies from the partnerships held with key suppliers. Some key areas include building facilities/maintenance, refurbishments, food services and clinical requirements across the organisation.

About You:
You’ll probably have a few years’ experience in a senior specialist role, now looking to take the next step in your procurement career. Your experience in a complex organisation will ensure you have the experience, knowledge and the outside of the box thinking that we need for this role. Your stakeholder management will be exceptional, and you will be experienced and skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, both internal and external to organisations.

  • Experienced in reviewing and negotiating contract terms & conditions within the New Zealand context.
  • Understanding of and experience in indirect procurement.
  • Experienced in negotiating service contracts.
  • Good knowledge of the tools and techniques used in supply chain management and able to apply these are required.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Skilled at analysing and interpreting information to inform decision making.
Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills will be evident when you walk into the room and you will have natural negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills. This is a great role and as such needs someone special to fill it!
