About the Company:
With continued success and growth, this privately owned business with over 200 team members, has multiple sites, predominantly across Auckland.
Recognising the growth and wanting to ensure continuous support to their very dedicated team of people, they are now looking to strengthen the SLT with a new Head of HR!
Based city fringe, it’s a premium brand, delivering a premium service. For many, a service that touches and supports everyday existence!
About the Role:
Working to the CEO, and with a part time P&C Manager reporting in, this is a genuine end to end HR lead role, partnering with the SLT, site Directors, and their teams.
This is very much about the right person, so although ideally a 32 hour/week role, there is the opportunity to discuss further.
While managing BAU, you will develop plans and programs of work across the full HR remit. Be it performance, engagement, ER, talent, wellbeing, metrics and data, systems, policy, H&S, budgets and reporting, or one-off projects – you’ll lead and own it all!
With a blank canvas per say, you know what great looks like, and will be pivotal to lifting capability through new ways of working – championing great people initiatives.
This is about influencing individuals and teams to be their best selves. It’s a journey of discovery – which is at the heart of this business.
“Create, Implement, Do, Evaluate”!
About You:
The role is made for an individual with no qualms about being hands-on, but who can also rise above the day-to-day, to strategise.
You can provide, with confidence, great examples of developing others through solid HR advice and coaching – even with the toughest of audiences! You lead with a relentless focus on sustainable practices, and business outcomes.
It goes without saying that you are already a trusted HR practitioner, with at least 5-8 years at a senior partnering level and a solid working knowledge of NZ Employment Law.
…all that said, this will be about your great attitude and pragmatism. Not much would ruffle your feathers, and you can juggle lots of things – in fact you love that stuff!
Genuine care and warmth exude through everything you do. There is just that ‘very special something’ about you - words can’t describe it, but we’ll know when we meet you!
