We're seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our rapidly growing FMCG client in the private sector. This is an exciting opportunity to help the business achieve its goals and drive success.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and collaborating closely with the Head of Sales, you'll take the lead on all commercial reporting and modelling related to customer and product performance, pricing and promotions, new business, and customer negotiations and reviews. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing daily commercial and financial support to the Head of Sales and the wider sales team.
- Taking ownership of the annual Budget and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Delivering comprehensive sales and profitability reports, including Board reporting, across all products and customers, for a variety of stakeholders.
- Modelling and evaluating ‘gap fill’ initiatives to meet sales targets, offering recommendations and presenting findings to the GM and SLT.
- Partnering with the GM and SLT to enhance their understanding of business performance and support on various commercial projects.
- Developing and implementing commercial and pricing strategies in collaboration with the Head of Sales, Account Managers, and Head of Finance.
- Conducting periodic reviews of the effectiveness of new and existing promotions.
- Modelling the financial impact of proposed changes to customer business terms, funding, and margins, and providing actionable recommendations.
- Leading the development and delivery of new analytics and BI tools to drive business improvements and boost organisational performance.
- Supporting the wider Finance team during key periods such as year-end, month-end, and system updates, while providing cover as required.
