About the Role:
This is a newly created role, reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer and leading 6 Area Sales Managers (ASMs) nationally.
Responsible for coaching, driving and supporting the experienced ASMs to achieve operational excellence within their assigned commercial portfolios. Involving their relationships with key franchisees and dealer originators , enabling them to proactively drive performance and growth with a strong focus on generating revenue for their shareholding originators.
This is an exciting role as you can guide the team to assist franchisees and dealer originators to achieve their dreams, through a clear strategy and an actionable plan.
As you’d expect, this role leads nationwide ASMs, helping to guide initiatives with strategic oversight. This can be achieved through leveraging data and identifying opportunities and challenges within their portfolios and empowering & elevating the team to excel in both their roles and growth outcomes in their areas.
This role will support ASMs to address the operational needs of the franchise and dealer network.
The successful candidate will foster a high performing, collaborative and supportive team culture with clear expectations, communication and ongoing development.
This role helps drives the executional sales performance plan through driving excellence in sales execution and rolling out annual and tactical plans, adding value to shareholders and strengthening the network.
Stakeholder management is a large part of this role, assisting the team with building and maintaining strong relationships with franchise and dealer partners to help them build successful businesses and drive mutual growth, as well as being the key contact internally, fostering a partnership driven approach.
About You:
Leadership wise, MTF are looking for a Servant leader. Someone who is super collaborative and inspiring, a natural coach who empowers their team to drive growth and credible relationships. Bringing your commercial and data-led mindset, you will set and manage plans with the team, empowering and elevating them, and supporting their professional development.
You’ll be a hands-on sales leader who works alongside the team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment without hierarchy.
Experience within, and an understanding of franchise systems is mandatory for success in this role. Knowledge about the financial services sector would be helpful also.
You will have proven experience in turning opportunities into action, removing roadblocks and supporting your team to do what they do best. Ideally in B2B businesses.
You will be resilient, with strong EQ and business acumen, with outstanding stakeholder management skills - you can build rapport and credibility with our franchise and dealer network, as well as internally.
You are action oriented, and solutions focused, adaptive and forward thinking. Personality and attitude are key here!
