Payments Switch QA Lead (Connex/Postillion/Base24)

Are you an experienced Payments Switch Test Lead looking for your next contract opportunity?

We’re seeking a skilled test lead with deep expertise in payments switch testing, ideally with Connex, but we’re open to candidates with experience in Postillion or Base24 switches.


About the Role:


In this role, you’ll lead the end-to-end testing of a payments switch system, ensuring seamless transactions, security, and system reliability. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, define test strategies, and drive automation where applicable.


Key Responsibilities:
 

• Lead the testing efforts for the payments switch, ensuring compliance with industry standards

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, covering functional, regression, and performance testing

• Work with stakeholders, including developers and business teams, to define test strategies and resolve defects

• Utilize automation and manual testing techniques to validate transaction flows and system behaviour

• Ensure robust defect tracking, reporting, and risk mitigation

What You’ll Need:
 

• Proven experience as a Test Lead in payments switch testing

• Expertise in Connex, Postillion, or Base24 switch environments

• Strong knowledge of ISO 8583 and payments transaction processing

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus

• Familiarity with performance testing and security testing in payments environments

• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
