About the Role:
In this newly created position as the Raw Materials Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring proper inventory control of raw materials and ensuring that materials are delivered to the production on time.
- Monitor inventory levels.
- Maintaining and updating inventory records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Create inventory transfer request on daily basis.
- Ensure that all raw materials are stored and handled in a safe manner.
- Manage the receiving and inspection of all raw materials.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of inventory levels and transactions.
- Collaborating with production teams to ensure that materials are always available when needed.
- Perform routine inspections of materials to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and report any inventory problems or discrepancies and recommend solutions.
- Conducting regular inventory audits and stocktaking activities.
About You:
You’ll have a good number of years’ experience in a similar role and be able to work on your own as well as being an essential part of the supply chain team. You will need to have experience within FMCG, (food production is ideal), and you’ll bring with you a good level of energy and enthusiasm and a growth mindset, be collaborative and keen to get involved.
Experience in inventory management or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Forklift licence required, and aisle master licence preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience with SAP, stock and transaction records.
- Knowledge of inventory control methods and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
