About the Role:
The Senior Financial Accountant plays a key role in assisting the Financial Accounting Manager in delivering precise financial and management information. This involves overseeing, nurturing, and overseeing the operations of the Financial Accounting team to guarantee top-notch, efficient, and timely financial accounting services throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality financial advice and analysis in the financial accounting domain.
- Provide timely and accurate monthly management, board, and statutory reporting.
- Stay updated on accounting and reporting developments, implementing changes and advising on technical issues.
- Drive continuous improvement by streamlining accounting policies, financial systems, and procedures.
- Stay informed on tax developments, providing relevant advice to the business.
- Provide leadership and guidance on financial management and accounting principles.
- Coach and guide the team, fostering ongoing development.
About You:
- Tertiary and CA qualified.
- Over 2 years of experience in a senior financial accounting role within a large organisation.
