About the Role:

Data Analytics Engineer (Contract Role)
Qualifications and Experience:

• • Data manipulation and development within the Microsoft suite (Power Query, SSMS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks).

  • Data visualization and analysis within the Microsoft suite (Power BI, Python, R).

• Relevant Microsoft qualifications, including PowerBI Data Analyst.

• Proven experience in:

  • Deploying dimensional data models.

  • Azure DevOps pipelines and API data extraction solutions.

  • Azure storage accounts.

  • Report/visualization requirements gathering and designing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with dbt Core.

• Working with ERP data, preferably SAP.

• Integrating SharePoint lists and document libraries into data solutions.

• Working with Azure Key Vault.

• Using Azure Logic Apps for automated workflows.

• Managing Azure virtual machines (VMs) and Azure Virtual Networks (VNets).

• Working with Microsoft Entra ID for identity management.

• Knowledge of machine learning and data model evaluation tools (e.g., RMSE, AUC).

• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.

• Managing CI/CD pipelines using scripting tools.

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent attention to detail, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

• Ability to perform requirements analysis, produce reporting specifications, test reports, and document output.

• Sound understanding and usage of ITIL related service delivery processes.

• Exposure to business processes (e.g., logistics, financial, sales, service, or marketing).
