About the Role:

This is a permanent opportunity based in Auckland, where you will be able to combine your strong financial accounting experience with your ability to build excellent relationships with senior stakeholders throughout the organisation.
You will take ownership of the finance function within your assigned business units, for example balance sheet reconciliations, P&L, financial modelling and ensuring month end reporting is completed on time.

The role sits within a team of 4 and will require you to lean on your experience, not only in financial accounting, but also business partnering. Stakeholder management experience is essential to be successful and having the ability to oversee and manage project accounting work is also essential. As an example, you will be responsible cost tracking, margin analysis against budget and identify key drivers, rolling forecasts for programmes and projects, and ensuring relationships are built through good engagement internally/externally.   
This is a complex organisation that requires someone who is excited to join a high performing finance function where you can combine your robust financial management, process improvement and technical skills.  

About You:

• CA/CPA qualified with strong financial accounting and reporting experience.
• Solid experience in financial accounting, cost management, forecasting, budgeting, financial and project management.
• Experience working in complex and large organisations in a fast-moving environment.
• Advanced analytical skills enabling ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Comfortable working cross functionally.  
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships at all levels within an organisation.
• Experience within telco or construction industries would be advantageous.
