They have customers located all around New Zealand and have three branches located outside of New Zealand.



About the Role:

The purpose of this role is to drive business revenue by proactively acquiring new customers and nurturing and expanding the existing customer base. This includes managing inbound leads and calls, as well as conducting outbound activities.
The customer base consists primarily of B2B clients, with some residential customers.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Convert incoming leads into sales.
  • Make outbound calls or visit business customers when needed, especially during quieter months.
  • Manage open leads and ensure they are followed up within the agreed timeframe.
  • Identify and create opportunities to develop new business and acquire new customers.
  • Accurately input all data into the CRM on time to ensure the customer service and dispatch teams can process orders effectively.
  • Provide a high-quality and professional customer experience.


About You:

You are an outgoing and sales-driven individual with excellent communication and rapport-building skills. You possess a "hunter" mentality and have superb negotiation skills, along with excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities. You are proactive, prompt, and able to think on your feet.

 
You will also have:
  • A natural drive to sell and exceed targets
  • Proven phone-based sales experience
  • Strong persuasive communication skills and the ability to identify needs and convert leads into customers
  • Intermediate computer and data entry skills with high accuracy and speed
  • Proven skills handling challenging customer interactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
