About the Role:
As the Warehouse and Logistics Manager you will be responsible for all operational activities relating to logistics, warehousing, and freight functions within the business. You will ensure all activities, warehouse layout and materials handling activities are in line with best practice methodology, and allocated resources are utilised and coordinated to ensure the agreed customer service standards are met and maintained.
About You:
You’ll be a practical, approachable, and able to lead-from-the-front kind of manager, with a good level of experience as a Warehousing and/or Logistics supervisor, manager, or leader. You’ll have good systems knowledge couple with great people and team leadership, trainer, and motivator.
- Strong relationship management skills and ability to work effectively across departments / business units.
- Strong communicator (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated stock control/inventory experience.
- Strong organisational skills, and problem solving.
- Ability to Multitask
- Calm under pressure and resilient
- Analytical approach
- Leadership of Health and Safety in the workplace.
If you have a current counterbalance & Reach Truck certification (or ability to be recertified) and are an MPI Accredited Person (or ability to gain certification), that would be helpful!
