About the Company:

A well-known and proudly NZ-owned and operated business who are going from strength to strength. As they continue to grow, they now need a Warehouse Manager, who is motivated to progress their career and be an integral part of the team.

About the Role:

As the Warehouse Manager you will be in charge of ensuring effective and efficient on-time fulfilment and delivery of customer orders for customers throughout the North Island. Through the establishment of best practice warehouse and distribution operations, you will deliver on all key metrics and will also develop and lead a highly engaged and productive warehouse team.
The role holds full responsibility for the active day-to-day management of the warehouse team and facilities and must ensure the accurate execution of all order fulfilment. You will be a key figure in the company’s inventory control strategy to minimise instances of discrepancy and unfulfilled customer orders and to create processes that exceed customers’ expectations and ensure quality products arrive on time. You will have that great balance of strategic thinking and planning as well as a ‘hands-on’ mentality working with and leading the team.
A full PD is available.

About You:

You’ll probably have several years’ experience within warehousing and logistics and have some proven leadership experience within a similar environment. You’ll have a continuous improvement mindset and really care about what you do, and how you do it. You will lead from the front with a practical and common-sense approach, and certainly not afraid to jump where needed.
