About the Role:
Reporting to the Marketing Director and sitting in a wider marketing team of 10, the Marketing Manager (Van and Fleet Services) will own the Transit portfolio from a marketing perspective and work closely with the product team establishing a competitive product cycle and go-to-market strategy. This is an exciting newly created opportunity that will play a pivotal role in the company’s strategy to increase the Transit portfolio’s brand presence and market share. There is lots of opportunity across Transit target market – SME and retail.

Key responsibilities include:
Develop an effective marketing strategy for the Transit portfolio, including audience, messaging, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market plans to drive growth.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns for Transit portfolio that will drive customer engagement.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis and create a strategy that ensures the Transit portfolio remains competitive, innovative, and delivers superior value to customers.
Ownership of FordPass (Ford customer app) within the Transit product line, developing a strategy that maximises the platform’s value proposition and driving adaptation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, dealers and other teams to align strategies, ensure seamless execution, and drive portfolio growth. You will also manage external agency relationships.
Manage the marketing budget for the Transit portfolio and FordPass.
About You:
You will have full suite marketing experience with a track record of successfully developing go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
An understanding of the commercial automotive landscape and connectivity platforms/telematics solutions is highly advantageous.
You will be commercial with a strong customer-centric approach and understand how to identify market trends and customer needs that will influence product strategies and marketing initiatives.
You will be innovative, with the ability to creative forward-thinking strategies to differentiate Transit in the market.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to influence and build trusted relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
This role works with international stakeholders, so must be okay to take the odd afterhours call or meeting.
The Transit product suite is complex, so it is crucial this person has experience working with complex products and/or services and has an analytical mindset.
