About the Role:

This newly created National sales leadership role will have ultimate responsibility for all customers across Grocery, Foodservice & Independent Channels

You will be responsible for building strong relationships and robust business plans with the key retailer head office stakeholders.
You will lead a direct report, who will be responsible for wider channel account management, developing their skillset to manage a customer and create meaningful insights.

This role is both strategic and hands on, while being responsible for medium term strategy, you will also be comfortable actioning data from Circana and building compelling, insight led propositions for customers and building account growth plans.

Lead the relationship/partnership with the field services agency, ensuring that key in-store metrics are improved, and key account activities are executed flawlessly.

This role will be Auckland based with periodic (monthly) travel required to Head Office in Raglan.


About You:

You will be excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of one of New Zealand’s fastest growing FMCG businesses that believes running a good business is also a tool for doing good. 

With a proven background in FMCG grocery key account management, you will be comfortable managing accounts top to bottom and fronting at a Merchandise level.

You will have a track record in growing business materially, be commercially strong, comfortable with revenue management principles that deliver mutual outcomes with customers and possess a strong understanding of the key sales levers.

You will have the hunger and energy to drive accelerated business growth, enjoying authority and autonomy to make decisions quickly and move at pace.

You will be comfortable ‘rolling up the sleeves’ – this is a small NZ business that requires a broad skillset and the ability to lead the sales agenda in a growing FMCG businesses whilst being comfortable getting hands on in the day to day of customer management.
