Calbee are looking to rapidly increase their footprint in New Zealand and have created new roles based in their new Auckland Central office.
About the Role:
Calbee NZ is seeking an up-and-coming National Account Manager to manage the relationship with Woolworths, one of their key retail partners. This role is crucial to driving national sales growth, maximising brand presence, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction in a competitive retail environment.
As part of Calbee New Zealand’s leadership in the grocery sector, the NAM will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Operations, Marketing, and Finance, to develop and execute strategies that drive sales and profitability within the Woolworths account.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who excels at strategy, relationship-building, and achieving measurable outcomes in the FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities below:
- Customer-Centric Approach: Skilled at fostering strong relationships with key Woolworths stakeholders, ensuring alignment with customer goals and promoting Calbee’s brand value.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Ability to develop and execute account-specific strategies that align with Calbee New Zealand’s broader business objectives.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, customer insights, and performance metrics, translating findings into impactful strategies.
- Financial and Profitability Focus: Proficient in profitability analysis, working with Finance to optimise trade spend and ensure financial targets are met.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work with Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to support account objectives and execute strategic initiatives.
- Accountable and Proactive: Takes ownership of commitments, with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Resilience and Agility: Thrives in a dynamic setting, adapting quickly to evolving market conditions and customer needs.
About You:

Ideally, you will come with FMCG Key Account Manager experience and have the desire to progress into larger Business
Manager positions. Along with the above, you will have:

- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of scan data and experience in Partner Hub/Retailer Portals
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
