EA to CFO

About the Role:

Your primary objective in this role will be to support the CFO to be highly efficient and effective in their day to day role.  Beyond this the role will offer support to the wider Finance team. The following administrative and executive support  duties will be required.

  • Complex, proactive diary management, resolving meeting conflicts, prioritising accordingly and in a timely manner for the CFO.
  • Anticipating information and organisational needs ensuring adequate preparation and arrangements are made for all upcoming meetings for the CFO.  
  • Ensure all meeting resources and logistics are considered and managed efficiently.
  • Manage and sort incoming correspondence on behalf of the CFO, by screening, and acting on issues quickly.
  • Book and manage any travel requirements,  including car, flights and accommodation for the CFO
  • Liaise coordinate, support and  follow up with Senior Leadership within the team ensuring all administrative deadlines and needs are met.
  • Take responsibility for arranging and coordinating small committee meetings and acting as additional support for Board matters in the absence of your peers.

About You:
 
  • You will have previously worked as an EA with exposure to supporting withing Finance or Legal advantageous. (C-suite level would be advantageous)
  • The key to your success in this role will be your ability to focus on a 121-support role but also connect effectively and engage and build rapport and trust with a large team.
  • To achieve this, you will have strong communication skills with attention to detail and high emotional intelligence.  You will have the ability to bring energy and a bit of fun to the role while executing seamlessly on your day-to-day tasks.
  • A high level of proficiency with Outlook and MS office is required alongside exposure to supporting with a Board, including, minutes, collating of agendas and papers and packs as needed.
  • You will present yourself professionally and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
