About the Company:

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant who is proactive, detail-focused, and passionate. This is a great opportunity to work with a dedicated finance team and play a crucial role in maintaining smooth and efficient financial processes whilst this team are down a member.

About the Role:

In this varied role, you’ll report to the Finance Manager and handle a range of tasks, including bank reconciliations, sales and prepayment reconciliations, and trade reports. You’ll also support payment processing and manage the finance inbox, ensuring prompt responses to queries.
This role involves processing overseas payments and assisting with month-end tasks such as allocating receipts, completing journal entries, and preparing reports.
With a focus on accuracy and efficiency, you’ll work on budgeting by uploading and adjusting monthly sales budgets and contribute to other finance projects as needed. This role requires someone with a strong financial acumen and a commitment to quality.

About You:

You’ll bring a positive, adaptable attitude, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Ideally, you have plenty of ERP experience and are comfortable using financial software like Navision. You’re a team player with excellent communication skills, who is also self-driven and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferably you have worked in a retail environment previously!
