About the Role:
The Chief Sales & Operations Officer position will play a key role in shaping the company’s growth, driving sales strategy, and overseeing customer operations to ensure global partnerships are strong, supply is optimised, and deals are profitable. Reporting into the CEO and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will be instrumental in aligning business practices with GoSee’s ambitious goals, fuelling both growth and success on the global stage.
Key Responsibilities include
- Strategic Leadership: Work closely with the CEO and SLT to define and execute GoSee’s vision and strategic objectives. Lead a high-performing team, building a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth, capture new business opportunities, and set clear targets.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee daily customer operations, including NZ and offshore teams, to ensure they run efficiently and align with strategic goals. Continuously optimise processes to improve productivity and deliver a seamless customer experience across all channels.
- Partnership Growth: Develop and nurture relationships with key partners to support sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring mutually beneficial collaborations that drive business growth and market expansion.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners. Focus on customer satisfaction, resolve complex issues, and manage strategic accounts to ensure long-term retention and success.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics to forecast sales, track performance, and guide strategic decisions.
About You:
We are looking for an ambitious Sales & Customer Operations Executive, preferably from an online background with the following experience.
- Senior Leadership Experience: Over 7 years experience in senior leadership roles, managing large global Sales & Operations teams.
- Inspiring Leadership: Able to inspire, motivate, and lead teams by setting a clear vision, fostering collaboration, and empowering people to reach their potential.
- Operational Efficiency: Expert in process optimisation and driving changes to improve efficiency, enabling growth without the need to scale teams significantly.
- Customer Experience Focus: Committed to delivering consistent, high-quality customer service across multiple channels, including managing call/wait times.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business sense and data-driven mindset, with experience using analytics to inform product and business decisions.
- Excellent Communication: Strong negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external audiences.
