About the Role:
The CIO role is a key leadership role with a global remit. Accountabilities include the following:
- Provide technology vision and leadership to develop and implement a global IT strategy
- Lead the digital culture and transformation within the organisation to make the most oftechnological functionalities and applications
- Act as a business and IT strategist, functional leader, technology advocate and change agent for initiatives to achieve company objectives
- Lead design, planning and deployment of IT solutions, to improve customer and team experience and improve brand reach and access
- Lead continuous growth through technology and systems solutions (data analytics),providing best practices for increase efficiency, control, and a competitive advantage recognised internally and globally within the QSR industry
- Influences and shares ideas with franchisees to invest in global technology solutions forbusiness growth
- Developing security protocols to protect company data from internal and external threats
- Coordinate with division/brand leaders that all IT processes are executed in a standardisedway in all divisions and that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
About You:
Your background will include the following:
- Extensive leadership experience working in an Information Technology role for a multinational company
- Excellent people management skills, ideally of teams of more than 20
- Experience in data management, computer science, project management and a track record of strategic and systems implementation success.
- Experience in a strategic IT role with knowledge of the retail and QSR sector would be an advantage
- Extensive knowledge of information technology policies, practices, and processes relating todata security, application development, IT infrastructure management, and IT policy & governance
- A good understanding of technological and digital media and the use of applications and aggregators
- A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
- A strong knowledge of emerging technologies and IT trends
