About the Role:
As a result of an internal move, a fantastic opportunity has become available for a Sales and Business Development Lead to join the business. Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, this role will play an integral part in the growth of the corporate unit, building key corporate client relationships and managing two sales professionals. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy that drives growth, aligns with overall business objectives to maximise revenue opportunity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients across all channels to foster long term business success.
- Seek out new sales and business opportunities, driving client acquisition and growth.
- Lead RFPs/tenders processes and contract negotiations, ensuring compliance and competitive positioning.
- Effectively lead, mentor and motivate the sales team, creating a collaborative environment focused on achieving targets and delivering exceptional client service.
- Build and maintain key industry partner relationships.
- Internal stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee financial reporting and revenue forecasting.
About You:
This role requires someone who demonstrates strong empathy for healthcare delivery, understanding the unique challenges and priorities of the sector.
- 5+ years of proven sales management experience, ideally with a relevant tertiary qualification.
- Experience within the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
- You will be a natural leader with a hands-on approach. You will lead by example, inspiring and guiding the team.
- You will be customer-centric with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and negotiate both internally and externally.
- Proven experience leading large RFP and tenders.
