Customer Service Consultant - Financial Services

About the Company:

Our client is a leader in the financial services industry providing high quality products to their Kiwi customers.

About the Role:

This role will involve delivering exceptional service to customers via phone and email. You will be expected to assist with a variety of scenarios, including managing difficult conversations. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Finding innovative solutions for customers
  • Understanding and adhering to legislative and process requirements
  • Communicating with empathy

About You:
  • You MUST have at least two years of contact centre experience
  • Experience in financial services is advantageous (but not essential!)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A customer-centric nature – you will be empathetic and enjoy helping customers
  • Strong resilience – you will be able to manage tough conversations and provide support to customers who may be going through difficult situations
  • Willingness to learn and ability to pick up on systems/processes
