About the Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Country Sales Manager will have autonomy to develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and mentor a sales team of 5, driving motivation and accountability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for new and existing customers that will maximise revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Build strong, commercial client relationships throughout New Zealand.
  • Perform quarterly reviews on key accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales strategies.
  • Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify trends, assess competitive positioning, and provide insights that inform sales strategies and drive business opportunities.
About You:
  • Strategic sales management experience, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • You will be a strong leader with the ability to motivate and build a high-performing sales team.
  • A strong influencer with the ability to negotiate.
  • Excellent communications and negotiation
  • Knowledge of and/or experience of New Zealand importers/exports, container shipping operations.
