About the Role:
Reporting to, and working closely with, the CPO, you will be a senior member of the P&C Leadership Team and a trusted advisor to Executives and Senior Leaders.
Leading a team of specialists across Partnering, HSW, ER and Advisory, you know what great looks like and will empower and develop a team who provide ‘fit for purpose’ guidance and advice, aligned to the wider business goals.
Amid digital transformation, it’s complex and you will lead enterprise-wide people projects, including automation efficiency and simplification for people related questions, support and tools. It’s about contemporary thinking and “how we work around here” to build clear, impactful channels of advisory expertise, at every level.
This role will plan for and initiate the cyclical people ‘stuff’, and be the escalation point for more complex matters. You will review and strategise people processes – design, create, automate, and continually look to improve; And you will inspire those around you, through leaning in!
INFLUENCE, ADVISE, EMPOWER AND MOVE THINGS AHEAD!
…it’s about high performance, at pace….and with care.
About You:
If you read between the lines, the above says it all, but just to re-emphasise:
People flourish when they work with you! Everyone attests to this.
Leaders in the business seek you out because of your mature, wise, and commercial insights. You think across, up, and down – a collaborator through and through!
You can take things in your stride, but because of your well-honed knowledge in this partnering and leadership space, coupled with your good judgement, you also know when and how to push back.
It’s been done before – you have led a decent size team and have taken people through an operational transformation, enabling others, while building sustainable capability.
You understand the value chain of a consumer led business. There’s some plus’s if you’ve worked in a similar environment, but I think you will recognise this is a gritty P&C leadership role, needing a seasoned NZER background to support your team; with that special something!!
