About the Company:

For over 10 years, Dynamic Supply Company Limited (Dynamic) has been the market leading wholesale supplier of food products to commercial kitchens throughout Vanuatu, including resorts, restaurants, and cruise liners. They have a retail store to further support their wholesale customers, and to supply the local consumer market. In addition, their butchery business processes a full range of high-quality meat products for all their customer segments.

Dynamic imports a large range of frozen, chilled, and ambient food products and raw materials from New Zealand, Australia, and Europe, as well as sourcing local meat, fruit, and vegetables to service our customer base. They have a warehouse operation encompassing frozen, chilled, and ambient storage in Port Vila and distribute across Efate and other Vanuatu islands.
With a strong presence in the Vanuatu market for years they are looking to expand the business further and build a great team to enable this growth, to realise their potential and take Dynamic successfully towards a prosperous future.

About the Role:

You will lead, grow, and mature the business, and ultimately improve the return on shareholder value and capital employed. You will be a strategic thinker and problem solver to deliver the business strategy and be a resilient and adaptable leader. You will also prepare the monthly board reports and attend all Dynamic Board meetings, joining the two joint owners and an independent chairman.

Essentially you will oversee the day to day running of the business, ensuring efficient management of the supply chain, logistics, sales, financials, customer experience and personnel. You will drive business growth, maintain customer relationships, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with food safety standards, and driving good health and safety protocols.

About You:

You’ll undoubtably have a good number of years’ experience in a senior management role, preferably in food distribution or a related industry. Your strategic planning skills and experience, working collaboratively with directors and senior management as well as brining out the best from your team, will be evident in your previous roles and successes. You will have strong and proven people leadership and commercial skills and probably have experience and success in growing a business. If you have experience with HACCP food safety compliance, sales, marketing, customer service, supply chain management and procurement, then this could be a great role for you.
