About the Role:
An opportunity to make a significant impact by partnering on across “all things” HR.
A role where you can bring your well-honed partnering experience to the table, collaborating with the Head of HR and supporting at all levels – be it at the front line or with senior managers. It will include onboarding, performance plans, metrics and data, people development, maybe even Recruitment, and most definitely ER – you will touch it all!
Joining a team of three others, you will help roll out new initiates, be involved in various HR projects, and partner with the Head of P&C on BAU HR and day to day people stuff! You will be a confident, highly capable, safe pair of hands, with the maturity and judgement to support ER and coaching of managers; while initiating business-wide improvements

Now – About you…
You are confident, take pride in your work, and you have a wonderful way about you – knowing how to influence and engage at any level. Your beautiful manner allows you to have those great robust debates, with warmth and respect.
Your knowledge of NZ legislation goes without saying – with exposure to blue collar. You’ll have solid experience in the HR sphere, ideally with 5+ years at Partnering level.
You are a seasoned Business Partner with the knowledge and initiative to manage tricky ‘people’ things! Your pragmatism, and enthusiasm for what you do, means you come with ideas and solutions, not problems.
Nothing really fazes you, and you don’t need your hand held. You are practical, you draw on resources around you, but you know when to check in and collaborate – partnering across your own team with impact.
You juggle, you take the initiative, and you love to be a “go to person”, but most of all – you’re a completer. You do what you say you’ll do, and at pace!
