Accounts Receivable Manager - SAP Implementation Lead

About the Company:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a large multi-site business that is undergoing a significant SAP transformation. You will be working within the Accounts Receivable (AR) team, part of a broader finance group. The team consists of 6 people: 5 AR admins and an AR specialist. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Transactional Shared Services, as well as key stakeholders. The company is dynamic, high-volume, and fast-paced – ideal for someone with experience in large, multi-site businesses.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Team Lead to help bridge the gap between the finance team and the SAP implementation project. You will bring your AR expertise to confirm and refine process steps for AR in both the future SAP state and the interim state with legacy systems during the transition. This is a "roll up your sleeves" kind of role – you’ll be hands-on, leading the team while also providing technical support on SAP and helping to ensure stability throughout the transition.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the link between the finance team and the SAP programme, ensuring smooth AR processes during the implementation.
  • Working closely with various stakeholders to confirm AR process steps for both interim legacy systems and the new SAP system.
  • Supporting the AR team and providing leadership during this transitional period, including oversight of a team of 6.
  • Building strong relationships with the finance team and the wider Programme One team to ensure alignment and seamless project delivery.

About You:

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Accounts Receivable Expertise: Demonstrated experience in a Team Lead capacity within AR.
  • SAP Knowledge: Prior experience working with SAP in a large, complex business environment is essential.
  • Process Thinker: You should be able to analyse, map out, and improve processes, particularly in relation to AR.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to quickly build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Multi-Site Experience: Previous experience in a large multi-site, high-volume business preferred.
This is an immediate start position, meaning the selected candidate would be able to commence shortly after interviews, depending on system setup time.
