About the Role:  

The role of receptionist plays a pivotal part in being the face of this firm. As part of the wider team that support the day to day operations, you will be someone who thrives on working in a varied and busy environment.  You will truly be a service orientated individual, who understands delivering an unforgettable experience through first class service at all times is paramount.  

You will genuinely love being that go to person, have the confidence, curiosity and professionalism to appropriately communicate to people at all levels and enjoy doing so.   Alongside this you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate administrative support as needed.   

Your responsibilities will include;  

  • Answering phone calls promptly and professionally and dealing with situations professionally at all times. Redirecting calls to the appropriate person or department.  

  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors, ensuring their needs are taken care of and that the visitor experience is second to none at all times. Coordinating and delegating tasks to the wider operations team as required to ensure all needs of the clients are met during their visit.  

  • Management of a busy room booking system, monitoring and coordinating the booking schedule and any additional services required for each  meeting . 

  • General day to day upkeep of the reception area, assisting in the setup of meeting rooms, catering, coffees and equipment as needed.  

This role will require you to be in the centrally based offices 5 days a week, 9am – 5.30pm  

About You:  

While this role does not necessarily require you to have Reception experience, previous customer service experience is essential.  You will truly want to be a receptionist in this highly credible and well respected organisation and to be successful you will bring and be able to demonstrate first class customer and client service. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will want to be around driven, dedicated high performing individuals.  

Given the variety in this role you will be organised and know how to prioritise, have intermediate computer skills, ideally with rostering, diary management or scheduling exposure. Most importantly what you don’t know you will show a desire and willingness to learn.
