About the Role:

Reporting directly to the GM Manufacturing, this is a multifaceted leadership role where you will be overseeing the manufacturing operation of the site based in Tauranga.

We’re looking for a passionate, driven manufacturing/supply chain professional with a talent for people leadership and developing those on their team. You’ll also need to have a natural drive and enthusiasm for continuous improvement and process optimisation.

Aside from overseeing the manufacturing operation in Hamilton, you’ll need to be adept across inwards and dispatch/fleet and have a thorough understanding of those broader logistics surrounding a production site. Working closely with compliance and process improvement teams, as well as looking after supplier and customer relationships – those collaboration/relationship building skills will be crucial.

Also overseeing the financial elements of the remit, leading on H&S, and working closely with the GM Manufacturing and other internal stakeholders on strategic initiatives as well as the general operation.

About You:

This is a role that requires a background in production and team leadership/development and a continuous improvement attitude toward all that you do. Communication skills will need to be top notch, you’ll need to be a problem solver and enjoy leading within a dynamic environment – able to make decisions under pressure and adapt plans where necessary – always bringing your team with you.
