Compliance Manager

About the Company:

This is an entrepreneurial, innovative and solution focused organisation that develops and distributes a wide range of products through NZ and Australia.

They supply leading retailers across Australia and New Zealand and have the nous and ability to continue scaling their operation.

It’s a collaborative and continually growing business that will offer strong growth and development pathways along a highly varied day to day.

About the Role:

This is quite a unique compliance role and will suit an adaptable and pragmatic individual who can think and act quickly, and work collaboratively across a number of teams.

Our client manufactures a number of their own products as well as being a distributor for several other key brands and household names. You’ll be a lead person for compliance across both of these aspects of the business – the R&D and manufacturing of their own products, as well as working with and guiding those other brands to make sure compliance meets standards, and is a step ahead of any regulatory change. In line with this, administrative and documentation skills will play a big part in this role.

The other key aspect to this role is the import nature of the business – with all product manufactured overseas, and colleagues located on the ground in China and Australia, someone familiar with a similar structure would have an ideal advantage. This is a well-established company which is on a mission to continue their impressive growth. Someone keen to go with them on this exciting journey will no doubt reap the rewards with increasing scope and both personal and professional growth.

About You:

You’ll be a collaborative and proactive individual who champions compliance and can work with different teams, characters and cultures. You’ll need to be able to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment and have very strong communication, administrative and analytical skills. Someone who is good with the detail but can relate that back to the big picture, and who doesn’t let themselves get bogged down – you’ll have a can-do effort and make things happen, without compromising on quality of work. Electrical manufacturing or similar will be the ideal background to have.
