About the Role:

Awarded Energy Retailer of the Year (2024), Mercury has been on an incredible journey since their acquisition of Trustpower in 2022.  Bringing together people, products and services from the two brands,  Mercury  offers market leading experiences and solutions for customers.  This role is pivotal in driving customer acquisition by creating compelling content and targeted campaigns that entice and convert new customers.
 

  • This role requires an experienced digital marketer who is happy to take ownership, leading the delivery of projects and initiatives across the channel mix. You’ll develop integrated marketing campaigns from strategy and planning to execution across digital and traditional channels (such as content, ad campaigns, paid search, and printed collateral) across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on the success of marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal teams and agencies. Use this data to create actionable insights for future campaigns.
  • Work in a squad environment with a diverse range of internal stakeholders and teams including the Propositions &CX, Customer Comms, Commercial Analytics, and Operational teams, to inspire and educate customers along their journey.

About You:
 
  • Proven digital marketing experience (6-10 years) in a complex and commercially focussed sector, ideally with a focus on acquisition or retention.
  • Strong understanding and experience delivering campaigns through digital channels and technologies, including eDMs, SEO, search, social, performance and programmatic campaigns, segmentation and retargeting.
  • Proficiency in enterprise level CMS and marketing automation tools.
  • You will have exceptional content/copy writing skills with a customer-centric focus. Media experience a plus!
  • You will be naturally curious and analytical, and comfortable working with data, numbers and research, with the ability to generate analysis and insight using GA4.
  • You will be a collaborative, future focussed, proactive person who is comfortable leading from the front and driving key customer initiatives within the business alongside inspiring your team.
