About the Role:

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be tasked with providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making at all levels of the organisation. You will oversee all financial activities within Hutchwilco Group and subsidiary companies, playing a pivotal role in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and control processes.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring outstanding support for daily financial operations.
  • Collaborate with the Board and Senior Leadership Team to drive strategic planning and financial excellence.
  • Manage compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguard against commercial risks.
  • Oversee financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and forecasts.
  • Direct the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis to enhance business performance.
  • Ensure robust tax compliance and manage the external audit process effectively.
  • Promote continuous improvement in financial systems and processes to support growth.

About You:
 
  • Relevant Tertiary Education with a CA, CPA or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role within the import and distribution sector.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in engaging Senior Leadership Teams and Advisory Boards.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and financial management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
