About the Role:
Reporting into the Managing Director you will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales and marketing strategies. Owning senior level customer relationships across most major retailers, optimising product and distribution channels, and identifying growth opportunities for the business. This strategic leadership role requires a dynamic, commercial, results-oriented individual with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building high performing teams. Key responsibilities include
- Strategic Leadership - Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with long-term business growth targets and objectives
- Sales Strategy & Execution - Lead the creation of sales strategies, manage key customer and brand owner relationships, and oversee contract negotiations to drive revenue and market share
- Marketing & Product Management - Oversee marketing campaigns and manage the product portfolio to align with business goals and optimise growth
- Market Analysis & Reporting - Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities and provide regular performance reports to adjust strategies
- Team Leadership & Development - Lead, mentor, and develop the sales and marketing team building a high-performance culture and environment
- Collaboration - Work cross-functionally with senior leadership to set company objectives and refine strategic direction
About You:
We are looking for a commercial Sales & Marketing leader who is a real “go-getter”. This business has grown and diversified significantly over the last few years and has ambitious goals they want to achieve moving forward.
We would love to see some corporate or multinational experience on your CV and the resulting best practice systems & process experience this brings, however Augmento are an entrepreneurial and dynamic business so you will also need to have some experience in a high growth organisation.
Key Attributes We Are Looking For:
- At least 5 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, ideally within consumer goods, FMCG or hardware sectors
- A proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies that drive business growth
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, complex environment as this position works with global suppliers, thousands of products and most major retailers across the country
- Experience managing Head Office retail customers, you will be well-versed in joint business planning at a senior level and working collaboratively to identifying growth opportunities
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Creative, customer-centric thinking with a problem-solving mindset
