About the Company:

My client is a leading, national property and construction group, best known for industrial and commercial building solutions. They are a privately owned group best known for running large and complex projects, with a rich heritage and reputation built over many years of high quality delivery and exceptional customer service.  

About the Role:

The Regional Manager role is a pivotal senior leadership position overseeing the Auckland Region's construction projects. This role is key to maintaining a robust project pipeline that ensures consistent returns for the Auckland Construction Region and supporting key national client projects.

It involves close collaboration with various teams, helping to craft pitches and proposals for integrated projects. The Regional Manager will work with the National Delivery and Commercial Managers to execute the master plan for major custom projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a highly motivated team of construction professionals, ensuring project success through effective application of Design-Build Methodology
  • Managing significant relationships with Auckland based clients, including involvement in pricing and client pitches for new business
  • Championing continuous improvements in Health & Safety culture
About You:

Your background will include the following:
 
  • Significant Construction Management experience
  • Leadership / general management experience within the property & construction sector who can oversee a project pipeline of $100m +
  • Strong people management skills, who can effectively communicate vision and purpose to a project delivery team
  • An established Auckland network within sector would be a distinct advantage
  • Growth mindset
  • High level of commercial acumen, with a track record of successful contract negotiation with clients
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence across all levels of the company
  • Proven organisational and problem solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
