About the Role:

Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager Sales is responsible for leading a team of 15 passionate sales professionals to achieve revenue targets & business objectives and to build and maintain high-level client relationships within the real estate industry nationally. Your exceptional leadership will enable you to operate strategically, leveraging your strong analytical capability and a passion for delivering results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies, manage sales targets, and support a coaching culture within the sales team, while collaborating internally with key leaders on pricing strategies and innovative advertising solutions.

  • Develop and execute strategic customer & call cycle plans to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities by account

  • Implement strategic initiatives to drive revenue through premium paid advertising onsite and through subscriptions

  • Build and nurture industry-wide client relationships to enhance and expand the company’s network

  • Stay informed on industry trends and global best practices to incorporate innovative ideas into the New Zealand market

  • Represent realestate.co.nz positively at public speaking engagements, industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities as a brand ambassador


About You:

We are looking for a highly commercial and ambitious sales leader and people manager who thrives in a growth focused, fast-moving and change orientated environment. You will ideally have the following
 

  • A proven people leader with the ability to attract, inspire, coach and develop talent

  • Have a growth mindset – Someone who enjoys getting out, building partnerships & relationships and has a track record in growing a business

  • Come from a corporate background to bring those best practice sales disciplines, structure & process

  • Come from a strong data & digital environment to truly understand the value of realestate.co.nz services and growth opportunities

  • Demonstrated success in growing and managing large-scale client relationships at head office and executive level

  • Experience working in a solutions-based e-commerce environment or directly in the real estate industry

  • Experience in creating and delivering sales training
