We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Andre Gargiulo as the new CEO of Wet & Forget, a key placement facilitated by our Tribe Leadership Commerce & Private Equity team, led by David Ziebart.
Gargiulo - a highly experienced business leader and executive - is currently Managing Director of Griffins Snacks and says he is excited to be joining an iconic New Zealand brand like Wet & Forget.

Wet & Forget is a company renowned for its innovative cleaning products. Established in New Zealand in 1995, Wet & Forget quickly gained popularity for its effective and easy-to-use cleaning solutions that require minimal effort. Today, Wet & Forget is an internationally recognised business known for their diversified product line that includes applications for various surfaces and eco-friendly formulas that make routine cleaning tasks simpler for users around the world. In 2024, it was acquired by Direct Capital, New Zealand’s leading private company investor, who have ambitious growth plans for the group.
Prior to joining Griffins in July 2023, Gargiulo held several executive roles during seven years at New Zealand seafood company Sanford, including as Acting CEO and primarily as CCO covering sales, marketing and consumer/retail. His earlier career included positions as CEO Cerebos NZ and GM Coca Cola Amatil.
