About the Role:

As an Administrator, you’ll be a part of a team of 25, providing general office administrative and coordination support. Predominantly you’ll be working closely with the team leader and the operations manager providing them seamless support.
 

  • Assist with the preparation of the client travel package and itineraries.
  • Assist with Travel Designers in support of quote and itinerary preparation including checking availability of product.
  • Assisting with client files as directed.
  • Assist with the preparation of quote requests and itinerary planning from different agents and direct clients.
  • Learn and utilise Tourwriter, AXUS, Microsoft Word and Excel to assist in the creation of client itineraries and quotes.
  • Develop product knowledge of all aspects of destination New Zealand and the South Pacific.
  • Maintain and develop contact with all appropriate operators to ensure maximisation of product knowledge.
  • Once a file confirms, support the Travel Designers by confirming all client documents, final itineraries, sending final supplier information and prepare travel documentation and amenity gifts.
  • Liaise with suppliers and attend on site meetings.

About You:
 
  • You have prior administrative and coordination experience.
  • You have an exceptional eye for detail.
  • A sound knowledge of New Zealand's geography and key locations is desirable but not required.
  • You are an individual who is passionate about the travel industry. A background in tourism or related fields will be valuable.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and can foster positive working relationships.
  • You have a professional and polished presentation.
